Frequently Asked Questions
-
What can I expect in therapy with you?
Our work together is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your needs. Sessions are a space to explore what’s working, what’s not, and how to build strategies that honor how your brain works — not fight against it. I bring a neurodivergent-affirming approach grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and compassion.
Who do you work with?
I specialize in working with neurodivergent adults and couples — including those with ADHD, autism, or those exploring neurodivergence. Many of my clients are navigating burnout, masking, relationships, parenting, or self-acceptance.
-
Are sessions in person or virtual?
I currently offer virtual appointments only.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Extended sessions can be arranged if clinically appropriate or needed for deeper work.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions and may move to biweekly as we progress. We’ll decide together what frequency best fits your needs and goals.
-
What are your current rates?
Initial intake session: $185
Ongoing sessions: $165
I also reserve a limited number of sliding scale and reduced-fee spots for those who need them.
Do you take insurance?
I’m in the process of becoming credentialed with insurance providers. In the meantime, I accept self-pay and out-of-network clients and can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.
What does “out-of-network” mean?
Out-of-network means I’m not yet contracted with insurance providers. Until then, I accept self-pay and out-of-network clients and can provide superbills for possible reimbursement.
What is a superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I’ll provide one each 1st of the month.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
Yes, I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots. Please reach out if cost is a concern so we can discuss options.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged a $125 late fee.

-
Is therapy confindential?
Yes, what you share stays between us. The only exceptions are when I’m legally required to report concerns about your safety or the safety of others, or in cases of abuse involving children or vulnerable adults.
-
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and understood. I tell my clients that finding a therapist that fits is like dating. I know I may not be everyone’s cup of tea and that is ok! I will check in with you often and if we don’t fit, I will help you find someone who is.
How do I get started?
